An interactive sound installation taking the shape of a large, plywood juke box made using a flat bed CNC. Inside the cabinet, you will find a collection of found objects that have sonic qualities, including a vintage gramaphone horn; garden hosepipe; reclaimed ceramic resistors; bamboo xylophones and cymbals. We provided drumsticks for kids and adults alike to have a musical moment.
Cabinet: 18mm WISA ply and 3mm cork inlay

A collection of unique furniture pieces made entirely from reclaimed materials. Two iconic sunloungers stole the show, closely followed by three benches and four chairs. Each piece is unique and handcrafted by skilled carpenters. We fitted reclaimed galvanised steel corners upcycled from raised beds into timber beams from a demolished army barracks in Kent. The decision to work with reclaimed timber across all items was driven by the values of the project, to demonstrate how we can easily upcycle used wood for new use. The reclaimed timber has a warm quality, and some of the detail from it’s previous life adds a tonne of character that would be very difficult to achieve with new wood. We loved it!
Loungers: Galvanised steel; antique pine; reclaimed douglas fir 5” x 4” roof beams
Benches: Galvanised steel; reclaimed douglas fir 6” x 8” beams
Chairs: Galvanised steel; reclaimed douglas fir 5” x 4” roof beams

A large timber archway made from reclaimed douglas fir 4” x 4” beams planed and sawn into 2” x “2” lengths. The reclaimed douglas created a stunning timber intervention on the street, with the colour echoing the brickwork, no yellow pine in sight! We also made the steel cube planters, powder-coated in a bright blue; and the bespoke steel brackets to strenthen the archway joins.
Portal: Reclaimed douglas fir 4” x 4” beams; 3mm mild steel; 1mm mild steel + powder coating
